My wife and I run a mission dedicated to serving the homeless and others in need or those with drug or akcohol addictions. We provide food, showers, clean clothes and hope to more than 30 people each day in San Benito County. We are privately funded and receive no gov't aid. Todate we have helped more than 150 people off the streets permanantly. We are a launch pad for drug and alcohol programs. We have re-united families; advocated to have people sent to long term rehab vs being sentenced to jail or prison. We are faith based with no cost to our clients. You can look us up on facebook. We have familues living in tents, under trees and in car. One mother & 3 kids live in a car. Her 4 year old has never lived in a home or apartment; just the car or occasionally someones couch or floor. Thank you for reading this.
